Online Troubleshooting PCs and Macs

by lionell.wagner . Updated 17 years, 10 months ago

I need some help as I am looking for a software which allows me to troubleshoot other computers and Macs as well.

I found some good tools like Logmein, Teamviewer, Crossloop and VNC. As I can see Crossloop is based on VNC and does not allow hosts on a Mac. VNC puts me in trouble if the partners side is not able to configure their routers and have networks with active DHCP.

So I would take a closer look between Teamviewer and Logmein. Does someone have experiences with both of them? As this is for a business related use I would need to buy a license and here’s my second question: Better paying a one-off with TeamViewer or having recurring costs with Logmein? TeamViewer would definitely come cheaper after some time.

I’m looking forward to your opinions!
