I am administrating my first Windows 2003 SQL server. I have read in the past that there a certain things that need to be done to finetune Windows server for SQL. Which server role should I be on? Right now it is set to file server. I have made sure that it has all unneccessary services are stopped and set to manual. What else? It seems slow.
