Has anyone ever encoutered this problem? I have installed the Oracle application from a cd on multiple laptops for DBA’s that work in our IT area. When they access the Oracle application they can work for a period of time but then in no determined amount of time the laptops lock up then they have to reboot in order to start working again. One day I had a DBA work all day without a problem and the next day she was getting booted off anywhere from 10, 15, to 1 hour. There is no warning or error message; However, when I have the DBA’s terminal service into the server they are able to work ok. The specific laptops we are using are IBM T61’s with at least 2mgs of memory. Has anyone had this problem or have an idea that can provide a solutions to this problem?
