OUTLOOK 2003 GPO – EXPIRY DATE OPTION

by mozster . Updated 16 years, 11 months ago

In Outlook 2003 this feature is on the options button when you start a new message under “Expires After” you can tick the box and put in a date for the message you want to expire.

On PC’s that are affected by our GPO settings on the AD server this feature is greyed out.

On a PC that doesn’t get any GPO settings its on and working fine therefore it must be a GPO setting in the Outlook 2003 ADM template causing it to be disabled.
However I can’t see which feature it is in Group Policy – any ideas? Is it linked to something else?

We are using Windows XP SP2/Outlook 2003 and Exchange 5.5 (soon to be migrated to 2007) at the server side.
