One of the users at my site has duplicate appointments appear in his calendar when he sends appointments to others. If he deletes one of the duplicates it deletes it from the calendar of the person that he sent it to. If he accepts appointments that others have sent to him only one occurence appears on his calendar. When trying to delete some of the duplicates he gets the error message “Error while attempting to resolve a single winner in the conflict.”
