outlook express 6

By john-david69 ·
I have three computers at home not networked to each other just using the same modem and internet provider. On the original computer I set an account for my Mom before we got the other two. She can't get the mail piling up in her mailbox unless she uses my computer. How do I fix it so she gets her mail on her computer?

PS. I'm running Windows Me on two and XP on the laptop

Export to .pst

I think you're asking how to move her Outlook Express folders from your computer to hers? There are a few different ways to move Outlook Express data between computers, but I think export/import via .pst is the easiest.

Go into the old Outlook Express and File / Export all of her folders to a .pst. (I think the export menu says to Outlook)

Sneakernet the .pst however you can, USB Flash drive or whatever, over to her computer. Set up OE on her computer to Send/Receive her email, and Import the .pst into OE.

You need to remove your Mum's account from your computer and then set it up on hers. Suggest you write down the settings in your computer before deleting the account, so that you can set up an account in your Mum's computer.

To access the accounts open OE, click on tools - options - mail and work from there.
