I have a client using Outlook. We configure his outlook to our pop3 email server, and it works for about a week, then suddenly, it cannot find our server.
Our server is running, we have a couple hundred people using it. He has a firewall, which we have verified is set to allow Outlook access to the internet. He is able to ping our server via domain name, and ip address.
It seems, that when this happens, if we delete the email settings from Outlook, and re-enter them, it begins to work for a while. A week or two later, it says it cant connect to our server again.
Does anyone have any ideas?
