I have a situation where 2 users with separate PC’s shared the same
mailbox on an Exchange server. Both uses MS Outlook, one Outlook XP &
the other Outlook 2003.
All worked fine until one user got a new pc. When Outlook was set up,
the user mistaken selected that the mail should be moved from the
server to the local machine. The result was that the user with the
other machine could not retrieve new mail anymore. (the mail was since
moved back tothe server) If this wasn’t all, when Outlook was restarted
on the “old” machine, Outlook wouldn’t open and returned an error:
“Could not open Microsoft Outlook. File set could not be found. Server
could not be found. Contact system administrator” or something along
those lines.
Any ideas on how to get this lot working again ?
