I have a windows 2000 server that first I installed outlook 2000 and when I tried to setup a profile it gave me the error “The Microsoft Echange Address book was unable to log onto the Microsoft Exchange Server” I have then removed Outlook 2000 and installed outlook 2003 this did not correct it.
I can ping the exchange server by number and by name. I have tried a couple of different users one of which was the admin account. I get the same error. If you are wondering why I am setting outlook up on a server it is for my help desk program that needs it.
I tried to Google the problem but nothing really helped.
