As a reference I currently have the fifth edition
Troubleshooting,Maintaining and Repairing PCs,by Stephen Bigelow

Any reference manual holds it weight in gold, I believe any refernce manual is a plus to have.
Currently my library has a totalof four different manuals.

I've been purchasing and using PC Systems reference & troubleshooting books/manuals for over fifteen years.

I'd also like to endorse Stephan Bigelow's books as being, by far, the BEST for use as a either vital reference tools for my own business or as excellent teaching aides for students I tutor.

I have to agree that Bigelow is the best. I'd rate Scott Mueller's Upgrading and Repairing PCs, from Que, as the next best. Bigelowe's Pocket References for Drive and Memory Troubleshooting and Printer Troubleshooting are good for carrying around.

Hi Greg; There is a book that I rate high is "ALL IN ONE A + CERTIFICATION by Michael Meyers". It covers the hardware and the OS exam parts. The next time you are in a book store, take a look.
