After emigrating to the UK from Australia, my PC had accumulated a lot of dust. Today I decided to remove all of the components from the machine and get rid of the dust. After I had done this I put all of the components back in place and ensured that they were seated firmly. I connected the power and video cables then pressed the power button. The CPU fan moved slightly but nothing else happened. No lights, no sound, nothing at all. Power is going to the motherboard because slightly inserting the ATX power cables into the motherboard results in a barely audible clicking noise. I have connected everything as it was before and as is stated in the motherboard manual, and I have never had a problem like this before.
My basic specs are as follows:
Azza PT-5VMD Motherboard
AMD K6-II 450
64 MB RAM
Webstar Spectra 3000 GeForce
Sound Blaster PCI64
Thanks in advance to anybody who is able to help.
