PDF Files - Can they be dated?

By Ritchie Analyst ·
On PDF Files, is it possible to have a date automatically entered onto a document, in a similar way to MS Office applications?
If not is there any software that can be used to enable this function?

If you're using a "save as .pdf" function in an Adobe product other than Acrobat, the answer is "no". I'm not aware of a way to do it in Acrobat itself, although I'm not an expert...
Good luck!
