I am having an issue where I am able to ping an ip address but I am unable to ping a website. And I get page can not be displayed on internet explorer- talked to pc(dell) manufacturer and they disabled antivirus and firewall- changed dns server to off and back on- flushed the dns – uninstalled earthlink and internet explorer 7 to go back to 6, and uninstalled mccafeee in safemode- they are showing a connection through our system-also problem started when she uninstalled earthlink before getting in touch with me
