This Computer is running Windows XP and can access the internet. I can get my email and download stuff off of the internet. When I try to access other computers on my network it tells me that ‘Domain is not available. You may not have permission to access resources.’
I have set up a shared folder on the other machine and given myself access to it. Even though, I should be able to see the machine’s name in My Network Connections.
When I try to ping my gateway or the other machine, I get the PING: transmit failed, error code 65 error.
Does anyone know what this is all about?
I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the NIC.
