Port forwarding not working

By Large ·
Guys, if you can help me, that will be much appreciated.

I'm trying to set up an open listening port for a P2P program (BitComet); I have a static IP set up from my computer. However, the IP that the software is taking is different, and seems to be the IP used by the computer out on the internet. I've tried several setups in the NAPT ruletable to forward the port used by the P2P program, but it always comes out as blocked. Can I get some help?

Otherwise how would the torrents know where to go ??

If you must use a torrent system, dump 'BitComet' and grab a copy of 'BitTorrent'.

It is easier to set up and by clicking on the status icon on the bottom of the BitTorrent window, you can automatically invoke the correct port for forwarding. (Port 40706). :)
