When I try to connect to the internet It says port is allready open. Reloading modem software didn’t help. Tried disabling com port 2 in Bios did’t help tried disabling all start up programs (msconfig) didn’t help, this cleans up the Systray for anything that could be running in the background.
I’m currently thinking Windows Milenium may be the cause? Thinking of going back to Win98. Can a keyboard cause this? My system is AMD K6-3 333mhz with FIC motherboard ViaChip sets (va503+)and usinga Creative Modem this uses interupt 10 and no conflict in Device Manager. Is their any good trouble shooting software that can tell me exactly what progams are using what ports.
