Can you please advice me if it is POSSIBLE OR NOT to join my new Windows 2003 small business server into my existing domain controller with a platform of Windows 2000 Small business server.. I want to use my windows 2000 as my domain controller, i just want to join the Windows 2003 to my domain, is it possible?..

because you are not trying to promote 2003 sbs as a DC you certainly can join it to a 2000 sbs domain.

thanks... but im still getting an error, heres the situation, i have an existing windows 2000 sbs server (it is also my domain controller), and i want to add a windows 2003 sbs server, i just want to join this 2003 to my existing domain, but im recieving an error message:

"This computer must be configured as a domain controller. It will be shut down in 30 minutes. To prevent this computer from shutting down, run Setup on the disk that you used to install the operating system to configure the computer as a domain controller."

-i just want to join it to my network, did i install it wrong???probably... thanks for the reply...
