Possible volume corruption ?

By tommymcbrayer ·
I am running Netware 6.0 sp4 and cluster services 1.6. My question is this, under console one I can see the server volume object. When I left click on the plus sign to the left of the object to display the directories under the volume I get nothing and the plus sign goes away.

It sounds like C1 is not installed properly, C1 is REALLY finiky especially the plug-ins for GW etc.

First I would try reinstalling C1 and then try a DS repair, full unattended should do. Then make sure you have sufficient ROOT rights. Login as Admin, not a user with equivalent rights.

I had already done that. Important side note is this problem occurs on about half of the cluster volume objects. There are directories unders these volumes and I can't manage them in the web manager piece either.

I'm not all that familiar with doing this with a cluster, but I have done this many times with a standard volume. Just delete it in C1, type nwconfig at the console prompt, Directory Options,
Add mounted volumes into the Directory. This should refresh the EDirectory object.
Again, I have never done this with a cluster so you may want to research this more before trying but it should be the same. It's just an EDirectory object you're looking at in C1.
Good luck!
