I am building a 1.3MHz.Duron system with 256 RAM. When I tested the system, it hangs up, continues and then nothing. I’ve checked the voltage on the motherboard, with the main reading 7.5-8V. As I am new to building is this voltage normal, every thing I have read suggests that the normal voltage should be around 10.8 – 13.2 V. If this is the case could the Power supply be bad (It shipped with the case that I purchased)? Could the low voltage keep the drive from completing the boot cycle?
