Is there a practical guide to subnetting? I mean all these discussions about calculating subnets are cool and all but i need to know how to apply them in real life. like how do you actually subnet a network physically? do you need 2 routers for 2 subnets or it doesnt even involve any routers? can two subnets be attached to one switch only? thanks
