I have a system that I lost the previous HDD. I flashed the BIOS to see if that might fix the issue. The issue was present before I flashed and is still the issue after. I get the BIOS to find both drives when set to auto and auto find. The size is reported correctly, 2 40 GB Maxtors. Problem is when I boot using W98 start disk and use the FDISK command it see’s 2 drives but will not let me partition the slave. Jumpers are set correctly.
