    When I recently put a modem in my mothers computer that had gone bad, the computer works great now, but the printer will not work..Is there something else I need to do to get her printer running again… When you unplug it, it sounds like it wants to start, but when you plug it back in again and hit print, nothing happens.
    She has a IBM 56K 95 98 ME … Help, she is 77 and needs her printer / and a paper factory and and ink business,,, In other words she prints alot

      Click Start Settings-Printers,when the panel opens check to see what printer is loaded,right-click the printer and then add printer,make sure you have the printer setup cd or load the printer drivers from the manufacturers web site before performingtask

      Check the cartrige to make sure that it has ink in it.
