printer problem

I have a problem with my BJC-5100 canon printer windows xp will not support it because it's not digitally signed and nothing that I click print will come out only a blank page how can I fix this.

The BJC5100 is not compatible with WINXP nor will Canon make a nwe driver for it. They suggest using the Windows 2000 driver found here.

although they don't support XP they recommend trynig th e200 driver though performance will vary with the system.

Canon has signed off on it too. You can try a 4550, or 6000 xp driver and maybe get some functionality out of it. You could also hose the registry by doing so. New Printer for $120 seems best solution unless you have good XP restoration point to roll back to.
