I purchased an automatic sensing printer switch box which allows 2 computers to share a printer. It worked fine The same customer asked me to do the same thing with a HP LaserJet 6P this time around. It just would not print. The error was :Cannot find printer, check cable.
I also tried changing to LPT1 port from SPP to EPC+EPP in the BIOS,changing to unidirectional printing, changing all three cables and changing the auto printer switch box with a known good one.
Is there anyone out there who can help
