What do you mean by "change cpu"?

by ThumbsUp2 In reply to Printers configrations NE ...

Your post is unclear. What do you mean when you say: "Then when I change the cpu both brints come in a one place (Counter01)". Do you mean that when you use one computer, everything prints fine. But, when you use the other computer, things don't print to the right printer?

How is this Navision software installed? Is it installed on the PC where the printer is connected and shared to the other computer or even the other way around? Is it installed on each computer and shares a POS database? Can you configure where the printing takes place FROM each computer? And finally, have you contacted the software vendor to see if there is a setting to make it always print to the correct printer no matter which computer you're sitting at?

OK as this is a Public Forum

by OH Smeg In reply to Printers configrations NE ...

you really need to remove Identifiable Information. You can open your Post and select Edit to remove your phone number.

As for your question I'm supposing here that when you say you change the CPU it means the computer not the actual Central Processing Unit so if that is correct how are you installing the printers to XP. With Networked Printers you should go to the Printers Faxes on the Start Menu and add Networked Printers from there not insert a Install CD into the drive and install locally you only do this with local printers. That way you can chose where to send Print Jobs by selecting the printer that you need to print to and not having the computer confused with what it thinks are 3 printers connected locally.

OK I think I understand your Issues now

by OH Smeg In reply to Thank you for your prompt ...

Effectively want Navision to print to two separate Printers at the same time whenever a new Invoice or Cash Sale occurs one as either a Cash Receipt type thing where the money is accepted and one at the Dispatch area so that the Customer can collect the Goods Picked after paying for them. The same applies to trade Sales but here you want a invoice printed to the Accounting Area and one to the shipping area so that they can collect their supplies and be billed for them at the same time.

This is achieved in the Navision Program by setting the required Printers as the Default Printers so that you in each case have 2 Invoices or whatever you wish to call them produced from the one key stroke/print command. You will need to contact the software maker here to find out the easiest way to achieve this. As this is a M$ product you really need to talk to them on this one as it is not something that I have any experience of in a big way.

We also need to know the version number of the product for the exact coding details to achieve this.
