I was asked to supply a couple of free ip addresses for new pc’s on our network. I used look@lan and discovered what i thought were 2 free ip addresses. Turns out they were allocated to network printers. How do i find free ip addresses on my network? as pinging printers returns a packet lost and so i assumed the address was not in use.
