Printing NT Event Viewer Details

By tscislaw ·
Is there a way to print out NT Event Viewer Details?

ALT>PRINTSCRN will not do the job as the Event Viewer Details window will not enlarge and there is text that has to be scrolled up to view.

Get a Free Utility

Go to and download DumpEvt a utility that takes Event log content and puts it into a format you can import into Access or print as a text file.

EventViewer (Alternatives)

There might be more solutions other than the one I?m offering you, but it?s for you to decide.

I personally don?t see the point of printing the content of the events since it?s important to back them up instead.
There is an interesting free tool(EventSave.exe) which helps you backup the events automatically and you can download it from:
Also Event Viewer Utilities:

The other options are:

1-Http:// you can see all the events and most of the time with a solution offered.
2- Open the event and copy the content in e.g. Notepad or a Word processor application.

Good luck!
