I’ve been given a Lexmark printer, and needed a USB port to link it with my PC. Having bought the USB and driver, I found that, no matter which PCI slot I use, nothing works, and I mean nothing!! Once the USB is put into ANY of the PCI slots, and the PC rebooted, not even the monitor will come on. I’m using Win98 2nd edition, on an old office PC given to me by my brother in law. Any help would be greatfully received! Also, seeing as I only have 1 gig hard-drive, how easy is it to upgrade?
