Problems adding workstation to W2K domain

By sjkern ·
When I remove my workstation from the NT4.0 domain and add it to the WIN200 active directory domain my PC will not boot unless I remove the network cable and boot to the local account and not to the domain. It hangs! When I add the workstation back to the NT4.0 domain the PC boots and loads fine. The OS on the workstation is W2k. Any ideas?

Thanks

did you change the network membership from NT to W2K? e.g. change memberships from NT domain to the generic workgroup, then reboot your computer so that it is now a member of the generic workgroup, then try joining the W2K domain?

Also make sure that your domain or server setup is set for pre windows 2000 connections..
