AMD WILL COME OUT WITH THE SLEDGE HAMMER A 64 BIT PROCESSOR SOME TIME THIS YEAR.

IS THE INTEL 845PE A 64 BIT PROCESSOR

The 845PE is a chipset developed for the P4 processor. Intel already has a 64 bit processor. It is named Itanium.

TRUE THE ITANIUM IS A 64 BIT PROCESSOR/ BUT I HAVE HEARD THAT INTEL HAS PULLED IT,BECAUSE OF SO MANY PROBLEMS WITH IT TRYING TO BEAT AMD'S SLEDGEHAMMER CHIP.
I KNOW IT A P4/I JUST WANTED TO KNOW IF THE INTEL 845PE CHIP WAS A 64 BIT.I HAVEN'T BEEN OR DON'T KNOW HOW TO FIND OUT

The Intel 845PE is a processor chipset for P4 capable motherboards.

No the 845PE is not 64 bit capable.

PS I am already running the AMD 64 bit 3200+
