My Question Is Can a Promise Ultra66 and a
Compaq 5716 Get along with one another? and
if so….HELP!!
evertime i put the card in and reboot the system just hangs there and then locks up.
i can get into safemode with the card in but thats it.remove the card and everything is peachy.
idont know what the problem is. When i called compaq the (tech)on the phone did tell me it was posible but of course they
couldnt offer other support.
Promise Technology’s (tech) was even worse
Compaqs BIOS is very restrictive and doesnt allow you to change much?
Does Anyone Know Anything about this?
