Can anyone confirm with me the proper way of controlling air temperature inside a computer??? Aren’t you supposed to suck cool air through the front and blow hot hair out the back via the P/S fan or chassis fan? Some cases might not have a fan sucking air in at the front, but it certainly will blow hot air out the back via the power supply, creating a vacumm so cool air can be drawn in the chassis via holes, etc… right?
Then WTF is IBM doing with the IBM PC 300GL sucking air from the rear into the P/S, then blowing all that hot air directly onto the CPU with no chasis fan to suck the inside air out?
No wonder why both my IBM PC300 GL started to fail after about 3 months use. I can’t believe the wackos who thought of this.
Just thought I’d share that with you folks.
