Public WAP prevent browsing of private network

I think this is possible, but I’m not 100% sure…

My company wants to provide visitors with a WAP but prevent them from gaining access to our network.

Our network is all WinXP machines going through an in house Win 2003 Server for DHCP and DNS. We also have terminal services running for some thin client pcs.

Here’s my thoughts on how to do it: I’d setup a wireless router with a WPA key that we give out per request. I’m thinking that if the router is just using the gateway to get “the Internet” I can manually assign the DNS and IP range to make it so any computer connecting through that particular WAP won’t be able to be authenticated on our network.

Has anyone done something like this? Am I on the right track? What am I missing?
