I’m kind of new to QOS. I would like to setup QOS on my cisco 2621 with the following scenarios:
I have 2 sites connected by two routers (cisco 2621)lets say site A (10.1.1.0) site B 10.1.2.0 (subnet) with a 10mb link between them. Router 10.1.1.1 which is in site A is the main router which connects to the internet (ISP) and other external services. Users from site B is complaining that they get timed out when accessing our ftp server which is located at our ISP. from further investigation i’ve found that the problem resides between Site A and Site B due to the heavy loads of traffic that is site replications and other internal services.
So i would like to know if i can implement some sort of QOS in which it will give prioty to the FTP services with a bandwith of 256k between the two sites.
