I think you may mean, "third party" software.

Third party software is a software package that enhances the base software on which it is based. For example, in our office we use AutoCAD design software, which is manufactured by Autodesk. We could (but don't) purchase some software add-on, which is designed to work in conjunction with AutoCAD to customize it for specific purposes. As I said, we don't buy any add-on, but we do create our own - which, I suppose, is a form of "third party" software in its own right.

I'm sure that there are a lot of companies that sell third-party enhancements to Word, Excel, and a variety of other software.

By the way, this question seems very similar to a few others posted - others that offer 0 points and posted by User Deleted (a new user). They all sound like "test questions". Are you asking us to do your homework for you? If so, I hope I get an A on the question I answered.

Both answers are probably to the point. But the subject of your question is certainly not. You will find greater and more response if you use a more descriptive subject line.

Call it Marketing 101 - you need to sel your question. And with a subject like "question" that is hardly a good starting point.
