I'm trying to configure RDP terminal service) on my server that is win2k3 standard edition and running ISA 2006.

how can I configure my server and what firewall rules I have to make (port allowing) to make sure that I can connect to it from home through my XP pro.

RDP Port

You should be able to install terminal services through Start->Control Panel->Admin. Tools->Manage my server. Add the role as a terminal server. That should add "terminal server licensing", "terminal server configuration". and "terminal services manager". You should be able to figure the rest out. The common RDP port is 3389. You'll want to get your home IP address and allow this port for your IP only. I wouldn't suggest allowing all traffic through this port.

not with ISA Server

you need to "publish" your terminal server in ISA to allow remote clients access to the terminal server, however, that probably isn't the best approach.

I would suggest remote users vpn in through a RADIUS server, then once on the local network, access the terminal server that way.
