We are hardly done with Vista, XP is still going strong and now MS wants to throw Windows 7 at us? In my opinion its time for Microsoft to take a hint and build the flavors we need most. Lets start with a Professional system? Oh wait that was XP Pro? hey wait let it start up fast, have no toys and work great in a business. Stupid idea, then that would reduce administration costs, we could’nt have that could we? The need to update servers would be a thing of the past. Admins would have full control of the PC?
Next an easy to use system with all media toys for the home user, simple has all the players updates with codecs and does not have any RIAA crap. I will police my own comptuers thank you.
Next a student version, it needs to do everything and require no attention so they can focus on studies. I would call it Winows Miracle.
Reality check, next is Windows 7? What happened to the cute names? What did XP really mean? “Xtreem Problems”?
