Recommendations for SAS 12Gbps SSDs for Enterprise Server Upgrades

I’m in the process of upgrading our enterprise server storage, and I’m considering switching to SAS 12Gbps SSDs for better performance and reliability. I’m particularly interested in their use in high-demand environments with heavy read/write workloads.

Does anyone have experience with specific models or brands that you’d recommend? I’m looking for options that offer good endurance and speed, but also reliability and long-term support. Any insights on real-world performance, compatibility issues, or tips for optimal configuration would be greatly appreciated.

The common failure I’ve seen is data loss because the client or company does not have backups. The losses were NEVER because the drive failed (SSD.) I’m sure someone has a failed SSD but in over a decade I’ve only seen one failed SSD and that failure was most likely due to a bad power supply in the PC.
