Recover Data after quick format

By bhm22mc ·
Hi All,
A user do a "quick format" a HTFS parition, don?t know why, but now she realized she lost some data she needs. The drive has not been written to yet, anyway I can recover any of that data?
TIA Bill Mcg

I'm told that

The Ontrack product will do the trick but as I've yet to get a copy I can't say for sure however I've had a lot of success with Davory from X Ways in Germany but it will only recover files either by name or type and when used By Type it will recover the files and call them file 1 to whatever so if it is a full recovery the OnTrack might be the way to go but if only a couple of known files are concerned the Davory will do the trick nicely. Try them at

http://www.winhex.net/

and chose the Davory link or if your into Hex the WinHex will do nicely as well it is nice and easy to use with a trial download that will recover files under 200K or you can try OnTrack at

http://www.ontrack.com/

they also have a trial but it only works to show what is recoverable and you have to buy the product before you can make the recovery.

Of course you will have to remember to remove any spaces that may get inserted when this is uploaded.
