Remote connection manager and company Intranet

by lawrence . Updated 19 years, 1 month ago

Hi all,

My first post so go easy!
We’ve recently installed a company intranet for all the staff (Windows sharepoint one in SBS2003). Locally it’s not a problem to access as everyone on the network connects using there Internet Browsers and typing companyweb etc.

However for our remote sites we decided to use the remote connection manager that came with SBS2003. I set up the users as mobile users on the active directory of the server and they can connect to the server and then the Intranet the same way as if they were locally connected.
However whenever they log on to the Intranet they assume the Administrator profile and not there given user profile?
Can anyone tell me how to rectify this? I just want them to logon as a normal user not an administrator. I’ve checked the Intranet settings etc and they all seem correct (Reader and Contributer). When they connect though they don’t appear as UserA they appear as Administrator?
