Remove Obsolete Network Connection

By BorgInva ·
In XP, I have a useless network connection sitting in there disabled. I tried some web searching but nothing I found help. Some sites said to uninstall all components in it and reboot. Others said right click and delete (which delete is grayed out). Anyone have a successful idea?

Thank you.

If this is a Peer to Peer

Log in as Admin and then right click on the offending connection and delete it.

If you are on a Domain this will have to be done by the Network Admin from the Server where you shouldn't have Admin Rights to.

I should have been more specific in my original post. Sorry. This is my local PC and I am admin. I do not know how long it has been in there.

I actually just went into DEVICES and found that "1394 Net Adapter 2" device in network adapters and uninstalled that driver. It removed it.

Now why did I not try that before? I must have been tired. When am I never tired?
