I Have a Win 2003 server, and XP clients. I was playing around with Software restriction policy, and disabled all the software execution by mistake and i turned it to unrestricted after about 5 mins, but just before turning it to unrestricted 5 users restarted the machine, and now they cannot logback in since the netlogon and the RPC would not come up again. I restarted the machine in safe mode dissconected from the network and tried still could not succeed, no the only way i can update the group policy is by connecting to the domain, but since the netlogon cannot start there is no way other then re installing XP. Is there a registry which can help me get back the system in to the domain without formating.
