Removing the old VGA adapter

I would like to disable the old vga card wich is located on the motherboard. I since have bought a vga adapter card for better colors...more than 16...the computer is a 133 with extra pci slots and isa slots..how would I make the new card the default one...thanks

Since the VGA connection is integrated onto the motherboard, You might be able to disable in the BIOS. When booting up, you will see a message that says something like: "Press delete key to enter setup" (F1, Ctrl+Alt+Enter, and F8 are popular also, depends on manufacturer.)

Another solution could be a jumper setting on the motherboard. Give all the jumpers on the motherboard a look over or consult the manufacturers documentation or website if possible.
