Clean load of OEM 2.5 on Alladin5 (GA-5AA-F3) MLB with no sound, NIC only video(ATI Rage 128 Magnum). Install goes well but on first reboot, rec’d the “protection Error” Installed amdk6upd OK. Computer boots to Win95 and appears to work great, except, when choosing RESTART from shutdown menu, computer shuts down instead. Will restart with Cntrl-Alt-Del or reset button and is OK.
What causes the no RESTART?
