Restoring Quickbooks file

By mitch423 ·
Anyone know how to restore a partially corrupted Quickbooks file? When I restore it just keeps saying "Your data has not been restored." The data came from a bad floppy which I pulled most of the info off using PowerQuest Lost & Found... Any help would be appreciated.

Check out Intuit's QB FAQs and examples. If you're still a registered Intuit user, pose the question to their tech support. Also, I recall there are some free unofficial QB web sites.

The problem is that it came from a bad floppy. If you can get back to the original source that would of course be best. you might try sending the file to intuit(quickbooks.com) and they can try to recover it for a fee. I also have had luck just running a full scandisk on the bad floppy.
