I have a dilemma.
We employ a multi user accounting software that is installed in a server side shared folder but executed client side. The problem is I’m setting up a satellite office that also needs access to this software, but the VPN connection over a T1 isn’t enough bandwidth to run even a single session. I know I could go the RDP route but I’d rather not if at all possible. I talked to the vendor and they no provision for local app/remote data access. I guess enterprise deployment wasn’t on the forefront of the design process. So, does anyone know a work around that would force the app to run server side but display locally? I’m open to third party apps or even a TS hack that doesn’t require a full on RDP session. Thanks.
