Whenever a user tries to save an Excel 97 or Word 97 file onto the Netware 5.1 server it takes a painfully long time (approx. 1 min or more). But if he saves it locally to just his NT 4 workstation it is almost instantaneous. Opening files from thenetwork is quick. Running other programs and saving files in other programs to the network is normal as well. This seems to have started after Outlook 2000 and IE 5.5 was installed onto his workstation. Any suggestions as to what may be the cause?
