I have a client who is running SBS 2003 and has 5 CALs installed on the server. I didn’t install them, so I don’t know how they were deployed originally; either as Device or User CALs. Is there anyway to tell? Also, the client needs me to add on some more CALs as they are hiring some more people. Each one of these new employees will be getting a new Dell workstation that will be there own machine. I am thinking that setting up the newly added CALs as Device based would be the way to go here. Any thing I should be worried about? Another thing, I was looking at CAL Paks on EBAY for SBSO3. I noticed that there are different types of CAL Packs. Can anyone explain to me the difference between the following auctions?
