SBS 2003 | No ISA | Client Cisco VPN connection problems

by mail . Updated 16 years, 9 months ago

We have an SBS03 server that provides DHCP and internet access to our client machines. It doesnt have ISA installed but has 2 NICs in the standard configuration.

One of our users needs to connect to a server outside of network using Cisco VPN client. The client connects but no traffic is routed. Ping/traceroute does not work either.

The ranges of IP are not in conflict and I think it must be a problem between the two sides of the card in the server. External (10.0.0.2) <---> Server <---> Internal (192.168.1.2).

I can supply ipconfig and print routes if that’d help someone.

Best – James
