SBS 2003 + Trend Micro server startup issue - any ideas?

I'm having a problem and I wonder if anyone can help as I'm not finding any solutions anywhere!

Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 (SP1)
Trend Micro Client/Server/Messaging security for SMB version 3

OK - Trend installed OK and when the server is rebooted all of the services start OK, there is nothing untoward in the event logs and the Trend console shows all clients and seems to be functioning normally.

However - the PCs on the network (all XP) take in excess of 30 mins to logon to the domain and are unworkably slow with any server apps/resources once they get logged in.

If the Trend services are then restarted on the server the problem immediately disappears and the PCs login speed etc. goes back to normal.

All is OK until the next time the server is rebooted.

Effectively the problem only occurs on server startup and is rectified by restarting the Trend services afterwards.

As I said however nothing in event logs to go on.

Any ideas/help would be much appreciated
